Hidden tree tunnels or hollow ways were formed over many years, sometimes hundreds of years and are the pathways where travellers and pack horses would wend their way from one village to another carrying goods. These ancient trails are quiet and beautiful places quite often part of a pleasant walk in present times. Summer, sunlight filters through the leafy path where light and shadows are dappled across the forest floor and the trees tangle with each other.
