Pearl Forest
"Pearl Forest" is inspired by some lovely woods near my home. Pale pearlescent light plays through beautiful leaves creating dappled shadows. I remember as a child a story my mother read to me about a forest that had silver leaves, I think this happy childhood memory has influenced the palette I chose for this painting.
