A Calmer Tide
During a trip to the coast I was inspired to start a collection of seascape paintings. "A Calmer Tide" is an expression of sea and surf on a quiet afternoon beach combing.
The painting is in mixed media and to create texture I have used some sand from the beach, which I mixed into the paint while I was working.
Acrylics and sand on canvas.
