This painting came from walks through the woods near my home and seeing the warm tones of woodland flowers. Sunlight plays through beautiful leaves creating dappled shadows and light. Summer is such a beautiful time of year in the woods the colours being at their most vibrant and the scent of flowers is carried on the breeze.
