Emerald and Rose Wood
"Emerald and Rose Wood" expresses a peaceful forest near my home in the Peak District where light falls through the trees creating dramatic shadows over the forest floor. I have used bright tones of rose, green and iridescent gold for their bright summery qualities. It was very peaceful to create this painting, and the gold tones add a luminosity to the painting
