Winter Woodland Birches
There's a birch wood near my home and in the snow it's a beautiful place where gentle shadows are cast against the crisp white background. The pale Winter sunlight is mellow with tones of pink and the dark textures of the birch bark are striking against the snow.
This painting has been created with acrylic paints on a thin edged canvas. The sides are painted white and the painting would benefit from a frame, which is not supplied, there is a cord at the back ready to hang.
