This piece was inspired by a bluebell wood near my home, a place that always feels especially magical in spring. I wanted to capture the quiet, dreamlike calm of the forest as it comes to life. Using elements of impressionism and expressive strokes with the palette knife, the scene leans into a semi-abstract view that invites the viewer to take time and reflect. The rich blues and fresh greens flow together, creating a sense of gentle movement and calm, with the hope of bringing a feeling of peace and woodland serenity into any space.
