Light and Golden Harmony
This painting originates from a peaceful forest near my home in the Peak District where light falls through the trees creating dramatic shadows over the forest floor. I have used bright tones of turquoise, gold, copper and ultramarine for their calming qualities. It was very peaceful to create this painting, and the copper tones have an iridescent quality to them.
