Scarlett Elf Cup Wood was inspired by the the memory of seeing this beautiful fiery red fungi in the forest amongst velvet green mosses and branches. While creating this piece I hoped to evoke the serenity of a mystical forest place with the light appearing in the distance. Harnessing elements of impressionism brings to mind a calming scene that invites the viewer to experience nature's peaceful tranquillity. The rich greens interweave with the vibrant reds in a delicate expression forming a tapestry of serenity and freshness that will infuse any space with the peaceful energy of a sylvan dream.
